Brought the C2 to work for the first time today and one of the lady's in the office called it "Cute"! I don't want to drive a "cute" car...so I need some manly wheels I have been trying to find a nice set of original finish Ruf's, but I keep missing out by a day or two. So I'm thinking OEM MY02's or Carerra III's. Does anyone know if they are both a direct bolt-on for a narrow body 993?

As long as the offset is 50mm and 65mm you should be golden. I am also on the prowl for some MY02's.

They both should fit. If you're going with the Carrera III wheels make sure you get the narrow body version because the rears for the wide body (Carrera 4) are 11" wide (51mm offset IIRC) and you may have issues. The 11" also have a cool concave look in the rear. Here's what they look like on my car:

So well-intentioned, but ugh, I hate "cute"! Not sure if MY02s will get you away from there either. Carrera IIIs are more robust, slighly heavier and not as nice looking personally IMHO (no offense intended).

Go with the wheels that YOU like, then go Fister Stage III and fire up those bad boys WOT next to her office window, and the "cute" will go away.

Yeah, I was out in the driveway tonight taking the stuff out of my Cayenne so I could return it tomorrow (lease) and I had the garage open when my wife walks up and says, "you know, the red car does look a little girlie"....then she laughs and walks away. Thanks honey
