Default BBS LM 18x11 et56 spacer size???

Guys,
Help me out

I have a c2s wide body and have bbs lm 18x11 et56 on the back. They need spacers bad! For those of you running this setup which spacer did you decide to run, also what tire size are you running?

Thx

That's a narrow body offset and you'll want to be at ET40-46 at a minimum for the wheels to fill out the wells. You could probably go as aggressive as total ET27-28 for a 10.5-11" rim as long as you're willing to roll your fenders and limit to no wider than 295 or 305. (FYI my 10.5" Techarts are ET46 with a 18mm spacer and 295 PS2s.)

So, if I did 15mm spacer which puts me at et41 with 11 inch wheel and 295/30's it should fill out properly?

Thx

Yes, should fit....but since clearance tolerances vary from car to car (as well as sometimes between the two sides on the same car) you may need to roll the fenders. Not a big deal to do really...just takes a baseball bat, heat gun, 30-40 minutes and a buddy to assist.

The 10.5" ET46 Techarts with the 18mm spacer works out to an effective ET28...looks aggressive but fits fine.

I have the same wheels and did alotta research...here it is..if you go 15mm spacers you need to replace the studs...or you can go with a rare bolt on 18mm spacer...no stud change and i think you can squeeze 295's without rolling..I personally went with 21mm HR bolt on hub centric spacers...got them from the tire rack..they actually have a very knowledgable porsche guy...if you go with the 21 spacers you cannot go larger than stock fitment without rolling...285's...which is what im running..i have 97 C4s...hope that helps...also have some other pic's I can email you..cant attach the jpeg's, too large...

I think I will have a similar problem when I take delivery of my wheels. If you don't mind I will borrow your post. I promise to give it back when I am done
Thx

David you know your wheels, have a turbo, and have Gemballa wheels you should be a perfect match. I got a really good deal on some Gemballa Competition wheels however the rears are 18x11 ET52. I am guessing the oustside wheel lip should be similar to stock (due to 1" extra width) with the wheel being approx. 0.7" closer to the suspension. My car is lowered to about 24.75" wheel arch height in the rear and don't know how much more of an aggressive offset will fit without rolling fenders? I like your Techart setup, how high is the car in the rear?

The Gemballa 11" ET52 is a narrow body offset that requires fender rolling (see pic of my cab in my sig pic below)...there are 2-3 RL's that run these wheels on NB cars. These wheels will fit on your turbo as is without clearance issues, but if you want them to fill the wheel wells better then you need to add a minimum of a 8-10mm spacer, depending on whether you want to roll fenders. I have no idea how low my turbo is...I've never bothered to measure...drives fine, handles fine, good enough for me

now Im torn - should I go 15mm which puts me at ET41 or do 20mm which puts me at 36mm. I have seen pics of the 15mm which looks great, Im still waiting on pics of the 21mm setup. Seems like the 20-21mm would be too aggressive? Do the wheels stick out of the fenders? Im running sumi 295's which seem to strech, so Im not too worried about rub - J.B.H can you send me your pics?

Thx

Have been out of town...
The H&R that im using wont let you go to a 295 without rolling the fenders...the 285's are tight with a 5mm space...so tight but will not rub.
My recommendation would be to go with a 15mm which give you good fender fill with 295's. I just came across bolt on 15mm from FVD. Had these been available when I purchased my wheels I would have gone this route. I like running at 41mm better than my current 35mm (my lm's are 18x11 56mm) because they match my old 996 turbo hollows at 40mm with 295's.
