The new Porsche museum is fabulous IMO. They still have way more cars than space and they rotate models regularly. Now and then they fire up one of the race cars too and the crowds run to see it. The last time I was there they had a bunch of 356 Speedsters in the prep shop by the kaffee bar. Very smart marketing by Porsche.

I applied for the test driver position but was rejected as I couldn't drive and drink a litre of bier at the same time.

I almost bought an identical E500 a few years back while living in Michigan. At the time I already had three Porsches and the company crossfire. Did not have enough room to get the Benz.
I am glad you enjoyed them.

You sure do Timmy.

I am still in Holland and was at the museum last week. Unfortunately the factory tours were closed because of holiday season, construction and the "economy".
So I will need to go back and include it into a bigger trip going into Germany.
That Sport Classic really looks good in person - for 202.543,10 Euros it's yours.
Great shots by Al - many like the ones I took.

I took this picture while there. It was during the world cup, and Porsche was showing their colors. Black, Red and Yellow for the German flag!
