Yesterday morning while we walked to the Porsche museum. We spotted the new GT2 rs as it made its way into the werks II building. Not the greatest pics but you get the idea. Also, after we left the Mercedes museum we saw what appeared to be the new SLS gullwing convertible mule on the Autobahn. Once the traffic cleared it dissapeared in a blink of an eye. As the SLS passed us by, it remainded me of the F1 safety car at full song.
We also saw a test mule 6 series BMW

The test mules are always running around Zuffenhausen and Weissach. The problem is you never know exactly what you are viewing. Most of the time it looks like a GT 3 only club race on the streets of Zuffenhausen.

Yup. I have a friend who works at Weissach. He was a test driver. Now he takes the bus to work. Not sure when he gets his license back...

I also saw a SLS gullwing and some Porsche test cars over there.

CRAZY price, but very cool. If only they'd equipped it with a GT3 motor.

Funny, a friend and local RLer, Jo-Hans, sent me some pictures from that very showroom on Friday.

Oh, the SLS has really grown on me......classic in the making. And even though I'm not generally a "convertible guy", I think this will be the ultimate.

I definitely wouldn't call the SLS pretty, but it just seems to work. And with that killer 6.3 in it.....

Here are a few pics from the dealership across the street. They pretty much had every porsche except the GT2rs. The 930 was in the parking lot for service, next to a conv 993 from france.
