Default '97 C4S Alignment - Please Look at my alignment report!

Just got my car aligned at Stokes Tire in Santa Monica. I've used them before for my other car(s) and I was planning on renewing my suspension at some point so this was just to tied me over till I do that (new shocks, M033 springs).

Got the car back about 2 hours ago, and I feel the car is a little more darty. It turns in better though but what do you think of these specifications. I am wondering if the tires need to 'settle' a little bit into the new specifications, and if perhaps I need a little more 'toe.' It looks like my toe was way out before but close to 0 might be too aggressive. Thoughts?

I recently went with a touch of toe out... So far, I love it!

I think i need to bring in the toe a bit for more stability. I don't like the way it feels now.

1/4 toe in in the front is massive. But it's really a matter of preference (and tire wear).

Right caster is still outside specification. Tire wear that's occured under the old settings may now impact how your car feels, particularly if the outside shoulder/tread edge has been taken off.

Drive it for several days ..... as noted, prior wear patterns are not erased with a fresh alignment. Run your finger tips lightly across the treads of the front tires - in both directions: one can feel wear patterns that are rarely visible.

I use very close to zero front toe, just slightly on the toe-in side (C4S), and stability is fine. The high caster you have should augment stability, and help the 'return to center' feel when easing out of a corner.

Overall, specs look OK.

Yeah, it think the specs. are fine now. I took it back just before i left for the San diego comic con yesterday (I'm in publishing) and they re-centered the steering wheel because it was still off by a degree or so...and that made all the difference. I'm loving it now!
