Bert-- When someone has a car as slick your Slate Gray Turbo, it's the stuff of dreams for a thread like this.
Almost as cool as a black GT2!

Any chance of seeing you & your ride on the west coast again in two weeks?
Even though my Laguna Seca tickets haven't arrived yet & some other logistics have to fall together, I'm hoping to be there.

Great seeing you on the right coast this past June

P.S. PcarRacr's a lucky dude. Thanks to Chuck's photography, looks like Chad's rightfully having a blast with your Turbo:

Jager great getting a chance to "chew the fat" as it were on your visit east earlier this summer..
Yes Chad is a great caretaker for the Slate turbo ,on a recent visit out west saw my old car fly by going
the opposite direction and just new it was The Ghost! caught him before he got home and boy was he surprised!
I had hoped to make it to RR IV but prior scheduling for an out of the country trip may make logistics
tight but I would certainly love to be there..I did attend RR II ,RR III and Porsches 60th at Laguna as you
well know and those were a blast!
If there's anyway I can make it happen I'll be there, Bert

Guys - are all of these pictures of metallic paint? If so, was there a non-metallic slate gray also?

Leucadia

Love the stance and colour. Could you confirm your ride heights front and rear? Are you using coilovers? The car looks very low and aggressive. Love it! If you have a side profile shot would love to see it...

Slate is an excellent color for the 993, IMHO! Great thread, keep it going!

Sure that is slate grey. Seems to have more silver in it. This shade looks amazing on the 993.

I'm a newbie to the slate grays....first one I noticed the other day was McQueen's '76 930 (page 4 of the Rennsport Monterey pix thread), stunning I thought.

His does not look metallic in that pic, but all these others look metallic.....are there two slate grays, one being metallic, the other non-metallic?

Hmmm... lighting? If not Slate, what?
