Grainger has Delvac SHC as well. I get it over the counter here in Cleveland or you can mail order. A tad less $$ than I've seen elsewhere.

Just changed the lube from unknown but clean to Redline 75w90 NS. I have noticed an improved downshift into 1st already. Before I could get a crunch at any speed above zero . I can now downshift at a low speed roll. I am sure I still need syncros replaced on first but I may be able to delay it until the clutch goes.

Newbie question, I just did mine with Delvac a few weeks ago but I have a LSD.
Do I need to add some special additives too?

Thanks !!!

Any different choice for RS gears / clutch / LWFW? I changed it once due to a crazy rattle and it helped for awhile...but seems to be back a bit.

the /3x series does make more noise than the /2x series because of the extra 'loose' gears but factory fill is SHC/Delvac for all of the cup transmissions.

You should hear the rattle in a Cup car w/o any insulation at all, you'd swear it was going fall on the ground in a million pieces

I've received quite a few odd looks at intersections, drive throughs, etc. Even my wife thought it was going to blow itself up...
