Congrats on the ride, but I cannot abide the swoopy headlamp treatment on those Beemers that look as though the car is wearing eye shadow. Reminds me of Elizabeth Taylor in Cleopatra.
Still, it's a very capable car. I hope it gives you many miles of great motoring.

BMW makes good cars/bikes. I have an X3 as a daily driver and for the Vermont winters. Its very capable. When I want a little 'alone' time my R1200RT fits the bill.
But when I want to get out and have just plain fun with my wife and/or daughter its hard to beat the 993

Nice car and congrats. Everytime I get in my 993 I drive it like it is stolen. Therefore I find it to be a very nice switch to get in my Beamer and chill out. They are so smoooth.

Thanks for the comments.
Dakota leather (whatever that is) on the seats, door panels and steering wheel.
Nope, Advantage mid-town. See next comment.
I have read about the the HPFP and injector problems that plague some of the N54 engines. BMW have now warrantied the HPFP on all cars for 10 years/120,000 miles. At least if it starts playing up, we know what to look for. If that's the only thing we need to worry about, then I'll be happy - the rest of the car is great.
I actually drove a car at Momentum that threw the Engine Malfunction! Reduced Power! error on the test drive. The sales guy tried to convince me that it was a loose filler cap because he'd just put fuel in.
