Hmmm, I am seriously surprised that this "feature" is so beloved. I don't get it. Frankly, I think it's like answering a question that was never asked. Or better yet, dumb feature. Yeah, yeah, IMHO.

Edward,

Have you tried it ?
Actually very nice when changing lanes on the freeway (over here we get a 300usd fine if we dont use the flasher when we change lanes).

I agree with Akerlie, you have to try it. It's nice to EFFECTIVELY signal a lane change with a literal flick of your finger. Plus, it's a simple electronic adder that does not add weight or detract from performance in any way.

I wouldn't say it would make or break a car purchase, but I'd spend $50 to upgrade my 993 in a heartbeat.

I thought heated seats were silly in CA until I had them - their kinda nice.

I also thought the "auto-start" feature on the Tahoe was silly too, until I used it. When it's 100+ in the summer, it's nice to push a button and get into a car already blowing cold air at high velocity. Or when it's 30 in the winter, push the same button and get a headstart on heat and warm seats.

Nothing wrong with a few luxuries as long as they don't interfere with performance (not that it matters with the Tahoe )

Agree, 3 seems to go by too fast, 4 or 5 would be better, IMHO.
