19X12 68mm offset GT3 wheels fit widebody?
They were staring me in the face when I got up to work on the Miata at Thunderhill today, at a price that wasn't even worth negotiating over. Guess another tenant sold everything, left town, and asked the guy who runs the dyno shop to sell everything else.
So I now own some 997.1 GT3 8.5 and 12 X 19's. If they'll fit on the C4S, fine. If not, off to the next guy with a car they will fit.

The stock 235/305's are currently mounted.
Being these are narrowbody offset, it's likely easier to figure spacing-to-order. As I replied to someone who emailed me directly, it took me all of an hour to put long studs on the RSA a couple of months ago.
So I guess what I'm ultimately asking is if these were RS/GT2 wheels (45mm offset), would they bolt on fine. If so, just have to replicate that via spacers. If not, then I've got plenty of room to play around and shove a narrowbody wheel up under there.
Worst case, since these things were so cheap, they get stored with the 15 sets (not kidding too much) of various other 911 wheels around until I end up with that 997 cab we keep kicking around.

%-10mm spacer as suggested above sounds about right for a trial fit .... I suspect that inboard clearance with suspension loaded - and then again at full squat will be the deciding issue, as there appears to be adequate ET to allow a fender fit.

Looks like I'll be the guinea pig then. Won't be dealing with it for awhile as I left the wheels in the garage at the track. I'm ready to pull the car apart in a couple of weeks for awhile to do the brakes/general servicing, so I'll fiddle with it then. Put longer studs on if necessary.
