'95 gearbox serial numbers

Default '95 gearbox serial numbers

From what I understand early 95's only had 1st gear on the shaft..late 95's , I've been told have 1st and 2nd,if thhis is true, does anybody know the serial numbers and where the break is to identify a early or a late 95 gearbox? so that one may ID. a trans from the stamped number on the bottom of the case.is it possible to do so? Thanks in advance guys..........Harry

Thank You Bill..If I have read your post correctly...G50's before ser# 02693 were 1st gear fixed and G 50's w/ LSD option before # 02174 were fixed after those number 1 / 2 were fixed is that correct? Thanks again for the help....Harry
