I was sure to re-seal the water barrier as best as possible before I installed the panels. I don't see how water could get to them at all.
I would strongly advise you to renew the water barrier (membrane) behind your new door cards.
I had big problems as the previous owner had neglected to replace the membrane after changing the speakers, I had to renew all the soundproofing pads in the front & rear foot wells.
I used to have garage door opener sitting in the door pocket. Now i need somewhere more elegant to place it.
If your dropdown "ashtray" survived the dash mod (can't quite tell) this little programmable opener CLICKER fits in there perfectly along with an additional electronic gate security card as well. Hope that works for you. Only drawback is that the CLICKER is only programmable for 2 doors.
