Default Need a Shipping Company!!!

Hey guys, I am looking at having a car shipped from Phoenix to Milwaukee, WI (sorry, it is a Jaguar, not a Porsche ). It is a high end vehicle so I want an enclosed truck. Any recommendations from those in the Phoenix area? Thanks!!!

Consider Intercity. They are a Rennlist sponsor and offer a discount to members.

Intercity definitely has the best reputation. I actually used FedEx Custom Critical to ship my M3 from New Mexico last year and was pleasantly surprised.

Ditto on Intercity. They delivered my TT from Boston to Dallas with no incidents and good communication this Spring.

I've used Intercity to send from San Diego to Missouri and they did an excellent job.
Also used Fed Ex/ Passport from St. Louis to Dallas without any complaints as well.

Let cost and timing be your guide with those two companies.

Jim-

I actually ended up going w/ Intercity (dealing with Jeff and Nicki) but am being charged $1,495 (not the $1,395 that you quote here on RL! ). I asked Jeff for the RL discount at time of quote but obviously did not get it.
Here is your chance to "make it right" in front of a LARGE client base for you guys!! You guys have my phone numbers. Look forward to hearing from you!!!!.

Might try Incognito Express out of Arkansas, I had good luck with them on my motorcycle. http://www.incognitoexpress.com/

Their price was one of the best, trailer was enclosed and they took good care of the bike.

Parnelli,

Yes of course we will honor the $1395 price for your Jag. I have updated Nicki in our office as her drivers are handling the transport.

Thanks,
Jim

I just had a '97 993 with 18k miles shipped in an enclosed trailer from Phoenix AZ to MD. The car was even wrapped in a huge plastic bag so it would not get dusty. I paid $1,300 and they did an excellent job. Once the car was put on the truck it never moved and was not transferred from one truck to another. I think state to state auto transport brokered it out (714) 447-4630. but some guy named Chris at 602-369-6104 is who I spoke with. Great job. No issues. They carry $1,000,000 insurance.

I used Horseless Carriage Carriers for a coast-to-coast shipment in December and they did a good job. I found them to be not very friendly on the phone when I called to arrange pickup, which put me off a little, but the seller recommended them as he had used them in the past, and ultimately everything went smoothly. Whoever you choose, make sure they do not offload your car at any point between the time they pick it up and the time it reaches the destination!!
