Well, I was going to have the tray removed next week, but I guess now I've got to go back and read all those old threads...

These sorts of postulations are found on all car forums of all brands. It always ends up being conjecture and a source of few truths and many urban myths.

Porsche knows why they designed this now legendary tray for the underside of their 993 model. In the meantime just do what you think makes sense in your world.
