Default hardback sport seats value?

I'm thinking about selling my hardback black sport seats with 29k miles on them and taking the money and putting it into my 993 for performance benefits.

What are they worth before I go any further?

Depends on the condition and what extras they have, i.e. heated, power, etc.

I've seen them for around $3K-$5K lately.

Here is a very recent comp. Your seats will not sell for more than these, IMHO.

Keep the seats. And, invest in safety equipment and increase your driver skill level before buying perf. upgrades. I doubt you are "out driving" your car. Become a better driver first (myself included), then upgarde as needed.

ahem...that was $3600 Todd. and somebody would have to pry them from my cold dead hands before I would ever considering getting rid of them.

Think long and hard about selling them, unless you need a seat for 6 pt belts. Or...maybe they don't fit you, they are a snug fit afterall.

IMHO, waay too cool to think about selling.

Did the same, sold the sport seats to fund modifications and maintenance.

I know this is going to be flamed, but I find cloth seats much more comfortable than leather....leather is cold in the winter, hot in the summer, and not that comfortable on the track where the way cloth breathes is much better. So I switched, never regretted it. Have a set of Sparco's now, but might upgrade to something else...but still remain with cloth.

The way these cars have depreciated, the price you get for your car is more of a package deal. The only way to really get the value back is to sell the car with other seats, and then separately sell the sport seats.

God, I had better get my teflon suit on.

funny ... my kids prefer cloth seats. Every time we get a rental car they want cloth seats.

My kids say ..."They are cozy... get this car" I'm like you would rather have a chevy malibu than a jaguar? They are 9 and 5 ,so I cut them a break.

So what you're telling me is if the blood bank thing doesn't work out, my 993's black leather heated, full electric adjust R&L hard back sport seats will carry the day at $4 Grand. Nice back stop!

IIRC when ordering the 993 the heated HB sport seats cost $343 each. There nice seat for sure.... but $$$$.

The new owner is going to luv them!
