Do those clears require the bumper delete?

Where do I get the new rear deck shock? Mine are out, won't hold anything up. Don't think they will work for your need but if I can get the new ones I will gladly send the old to you.

Order from Sunset Imports (Porsche parts dept.) in OR. That's where I got mine recently. Can't beat the prices and service.

Darin I'd interested in rear prop rod for my ducktail.

Roger, I have a old shock on one side and no shock on the other. The old shock is totally shot and won't even hold the ducktail lid up. Coming from experience I would not try to use worn shocks that have any pressure because it will definitely deform the lid overtime.

Thanks for the concern Scott. I've finished the install and am planning on posting some pics on my other thread. flyinglow sent me his old shocks and they work perfect. Very little pressure left in them so I think I'm good about deformation concerns. When I pop the release the lid comes up just a hair, then I have to raise it manually, just like with the metal lid.
