4 years later,still smiling
So I had the 95 out for a bit this afternoon enjoying the beautiful weather. Afterwards I was reflecting on my 4+ years of time with the car. I've made some changes (PSS9s, MY02s, then Speedlines, clear corners, bumperette delete) and done lots of regular maintenance as well as fixing things that needed fixing (front windshield, windshield surrounds front & rear to fix rust, upper & lower valve cover gaskets, and most recently lifters). I've learned many things here such as how to spend money, how to get the best bang for my $$$ when spending, and some of the normal items that can and will go wrong with these cars.
The purpose of this post? Nothing really. Just amazed this old little car (and it's slightly younger garage mate) puts a smile on my face like nothing else. I will put a 996GT3 in the mix one day as well as a 964 of some sort, but for now this pair makes me smile every time I go out to the garage. I have an even bigger smile after a drive like today.
Some pics from today. The last one is a picture of me doing what I do best.......sitting in a chair having a beer! (That's neighbor John washing his 95 while friend Doug, owner of the "S", takes the picture.)

Very nice Tim, 130K and it still looks better than most new 2010 cars on the road! I'm at 122K and hope to surpass you mileage wise by September.
Does your signature actually use the terms 'wood' and '****' in the same description?
Guess it's much easier to polish the **** when you have wood.

Yea Tim, the car looks fantastic, but those Speedlines are looking a little tired. I think it is time for a new look.
I'd be happy to take that tired look off your hands so you could buff your ride up
Cheers:

Thanks guys. Clarification: car has 130,000KM. That's 80K miles.
Bob, I agree, the Speedlines are done. They're in boxes, awaiting shipment. Send your address please.

Tim,
My thoughts as well. I'm coming up on five very happy years of ownership and see no reason to change things.
Now, that steering wheel.......
