i have the aluminum shift **** and ebrake option. Stupid question but how do you get the **** off or tighten it (it turns a bit) and is there a good way to polish it? The PO wore a ring i presume as the **** is quite scratched (insert appopriate joke here). So how do you polish your ****??

I know that Andreas is probably the authority on **** polishing, but as an amateur I would suggest removing all rings and jewelery in the future before you handle the **** as it will most certainly cause unsightly scratches and abrasions. Also, when polishing, be sure not to overdo it as you could eventually cause irreversible damage and make it unattractive to the extent that you nor anyone else will want to handle it anymore.
