sorry to post yet another topic that's been beaten to death...but I can't seem to find an exact answer so here it is again.
what is the lowest offset I can have on a narrow body, without rubbing, to make the wheels as flush as possible to the fender? I am using 225/40, 265/35 tires, 18x8.5, 18x10 wheels.
You'll get a variety of comments, but IMHO you can probably do ET55 with 265 tires if you really need to. Maybe a smidge less but it'll start looking funny beyond that. Not sure what the 8.5" wheel will do to ya.
ET52 with 9"/10"/11" rims and rolled fenders for rears but depending on tire brand/model as well as size. Front 8.5" you can go ET40 w/ slight fender rolling; ET45 w/no rolling...OK with 245/35.
