Yes, you can be proud. Spain was the best team in this world cup and they finally came through.

However, I was a little bit irritated by the hard play from Holland and cannot understand that the players are bad loosers and complain about the referee. The referee was not perfect but he needs to issue cards when a game is a brutal as this. When De Jong fouled Alonso in "Kung-Fu Style" he should have been sent off with a straight red. Maybe this would have settled down the game. The same applies to the revanche foul from Iniesta where a red would have been the right call.

Again, Holland can be proud but this is not going to help a country that lost the big one 3 times ...

I got your note about your "cruise" in August, however I am at the other end of the country staying with relatives in Holten (no rental car for the week :-)
