I'm not sure I understand any reason to stick-poke the 996 or 997 guys. It's just a car. Drive what you like, like what you drive.

Stick-poking seems to be part of every car forum. No matter what generation 911/Evo/Corvette/S2000/etc., there is always someone who thinks they have the last true or best iteration of the model.
