I have the Cobra Misano seat shown by Curve Lover in post #15...

Great seats, confortable and very supportive. With the Wedge engineering bases, raises this seat almost 2" over stock seat cushon height. The Cobra seats are a little wider in overall so the extra height reduces interference with the center console.

Always learning--didn't realize until looking at all of the cool photos, that these seats had a seat-back release feature. Was always a challenge accessing the back with the top up--thanks Jager!!

I really like those Recaro A8s. Great job gonzilla!

The 996 seats are a great option. How hard are those to fit in our cars?

For all of you guys who showed pictures of pole positions with custom leather do you mind sharing who did the work and what the cost was.
I would love a set but my car is cashmere so I want to find out if it is worth finding a set and then have them recovered in tan leather. Finding tan GT3 seats is next to impossible.

Thanks !!!

Another option to consider is to modify your interior to two-tone tan/black, which is what I did with my green cab in the sig pic below. Also, it's very simple to recover just the center sections of the GT3 seats and any decent upholstery shop can recover them in tan leather (the center sections attach to the seats with velcro and the covers are also secured over the foam cushions with velcro). Also IIRC Carnewal sells just the center sections and previously had them available in tan leather.

2 questions:
1- what is the difference between the pole position and the RS oem seat and the speedster seat? is it just the verticle stiching down the center?

2- what is the best price avail on the 997 gt2 seats?
