That's pretty much true, especially for cars like these that can be expensive if you have to pay someone else to do the work. Sounds like you are ahead of the game by being able to do your own wrenching which helps tremendously. Good luck with your decision. Regarding the cheaper to work on questio - no valve adjust on the 993!
