Default Calling all batphone console owners
Would someone be so kind to measure the opening on the batphone console? I am looking for dimensions of a the square hole (i.e. I know it is probably longer up and down but tapers at the bottom)... Any help will be much appreciated!

The panel itself is about 7-5/8" wide x 6-3/4" tall; it starts to taper narrower about 4-1/4" from the top. The actual opening is slightly smaller than those dimensions.

Not sure what you want to put in there, but there's not much depth behind the panel, particularly at the top. See this thread: https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...le-x-post.html for some measurements I took of mine, starting at post #15.

Any luck mounting an iPhone dock in place of the old school cell phone? I was thinking the same exact thing

I am doing that as we speak. I have the Ottercase setup. I am mounting it in the spot where the old phone was.

^^ Similar: removed phone cradle in favor of iPhone / iPod Touch dock on my batphone console before removing my stereo. Worked well.
