I am the second owner. It is private dealer bought and of course I cannot find records. Cincinnati dealer where is was serviced was not very helpful either.

However, under the seat detective work turned up the following. Kids toy remnant...Tony Bennet CASSETTE tape receipt and wrapping...cigarette lighter. Also, the name in the owners manual seems to be that of a university faculty whom I was unsucessful in finding anywhere.

Here is my plan...I am going to go to University of interest and hang out on campus. I will be looking for a professor type singing Tony Bennet songs along with his WALKMAN. When he lights up I will ambush him for a light and THE RECORDS!

Sadly, I missed out on having the previous buyer "connection" with my car...but I still can live vicariously with my fellow RL-ers.

My car's 1st owner (I'm 2nd) is a Emmy award winning television executive.
I'm not sure if it's right to post his name so I won't.

My car was owned first by an FBI special agent, then by a female gynecologist (yes, really)
LOL, there's a woman in my neighborhood who drives an older 911 with the license plate "PMS RX" Gotta love it.

I'm the second owner after a realtor in Southern Florida. It was clean under the seats except for a 10 year old check made out to the IRS for big $$. I bet he lost some sleep over that.

I picked my '95 up as a trade in for a minivan at a Mazda dealership. The husband was out of the country and his wife used a POA to sign the title over. I did some searching and found an ad that the dealership offered all used cars at KBB retail minus 10%. They were not very happy when I produced the ad.

I'm the second owner. The original owner was the daughter of a wealthy family who got the car as a 30th Birthday gift from her parents. The parents lived in Palm Beach, and the car was purchased at Brahman and shipped directly to the Boston suburb where the daughter lived.

She told me that she only used it in the summers to go back and forth to her vacation house on Cape Cod.

My car was sold new at Hoehn Porsche in Carlsbad, CA to a dentist in Diamond Bar, CA. He had it 6 years and sold it to a VP of the Irvine Company in Irvine, CA. He had car 6 years and sold it to me in Dec. '07.

The first owner would call the second owner every now and then to "check in" on his old car, I've continued that with an occasional email with pics and updates to the guy I bought from. For what its worth, I'd like to think my car has been loved by three enthusiasts (including me) since new.

Previous owner of my 987 was kind enough to maintain it to the letter and forego an extended warranty when he had the chance. In this way he ended up walking away in disgust from a 40k mile car 2-mos out of factory warranty when the motor blew. So now I have a Boxster/Cayman S frankencar thanks in many ways to his fine work.

The sole previous owner of my 914 was a nice lady who wore matching blouses to go with her car

mine came back to Atlanta in a roundabout way

originally delivered to Jim Ellis Porsche in 1997 as a "Demo Car". According to the techs at Hennessey who were at Ellis at the time it was delivered the car was driven by Mrs. Jim Ellis for 6 Months as her personal ride, though I have never confirmed it.

From there it went to Las Vegas though intra-dealer transfer were it was bought by a plastic surgeon in Tucson AZ. That owner traded it in for a 2004 C4S according to their Dealer I bought it from (Beaudry Porsche) . I bought it in December of 2003 and brought it to South Alabama and now back home to Atlanta.
