Default Looks like some nuts are missing

Looks like the front nut on the front suspension came off and the bolt is walk out on both sides. Anyone know where to order the hardware?

May be a good time to replace your control arm bushings if you haven't already done so. Looks like you just need the washer and nut.

I seem to remember that, for the front A arms, one side is threaded and the other needs a nut. The picture looks like the front one, there is no nut, the inner of the bushing is threaded. You should just be able to tighten it back up (unless I am reading the picture wrong).

Cheers,

Mike

Ah, that sound likely since the bolt is only out on the passenger's side.

Thanks Mike!

How in the world did you manage to spot that? I would have never noticed that

Absolutely correct .... check the other side, and you will find both nuts 'missing' .
The front half of the bushing insert is threaded, so as Mike says, just torque it up, & good to go.

Good catch - this could have ended differently...

Did someone work on your car recently?

On slow stops, I could hear a slight ping. Hard to explain

I was definitely shocked seeing this as I drove the car the last two days like this.

No work lately. The previous owner had new shocks/springs put on 3 years ago by a shop in Campbell, Ca.

wow, good catch.

I'd check the torque on all of the A-arm bolts, just for fun.

the front bolt (your loose one) is 81 ft lbs.
the rear bolt/nut is 63 ft lbs.
