The late Ayrton Senna decal sticker signature. Can be removed but I don't imagine anyone doing such a thing

whew...there's a story Jay. It's all cataloged here somewhere in the forum. In a nutshell-mileage prob on the Carfax-no records last 8 years-initially diagnosed bad bearing in torque tube. I got past the mileage mix up-a true enthusiest owned it the last 8-he did everything on it. Actually low balled them to buy it as-is, asking $43,900-agreed at $38,700. Salesman and account manager or something agreed to sell it to me-said margin would be the same after they fixed everything anyway. Pending approval from GM naturally-but salesman assured me he would agree. About 3/4 thru the contract-a voice cried out in the wildreness, the GM won't give the car away. they wanted me to step up and buy it at $40k as-is-the torque tube replacement was a nearly $3K repair.
Salesman just emailed me last week to tell me the torque tube bearing wasn't the problem-they swapped out the fancy wheelset with stock twists, and the noise went away. They sold it for $42K. I also found out the car had a full respray-extremely well done-although independent third party verification was never done.
I was gonna have Chris do the PPI, some Red something or other body shop look at the paint/body, and an alignent place around the corner from Chris go over the car too. Both Chris, and another guy named John from Powell's shop, spent lots of time with me on the phone. They both were VERY gracious indeed.
Chalk it up to just another learning experience.
Jay, I would still like your address to send you some liquid "thank you" for that Rennfax you did for me. How about it?
