Default M Coupe

So with all the learnin I got from Andreas I was confident to take on a project with my buddy and his 2000 Dinan M Coupe. Last Friday we installed a complete TC Kline coilover suspension with camber plates in the front. He just had the Work Meister wheels completely refinished as well. I think it looks the bizness.....

I always thought the coupe was a cool, quirky design....That's a really nice example!

I like the looks but have heard bad things about the rear subframe - develops cracks, not safe. That car looks sweet though!

I see someone discovered a camera... Very cool car. I always loved the bread-van design.

Default ding, ding, ding

I considered one of those instead of another 911 for quite some time. The S52 cars-with what was it...250hp, are a bargain, when compared to the S53-315hp cars.

I absolutely love those cars. Hips like our beloved 993, that's for sure!

A friend of mine has a S54 powered Cargraphic tuned (engine, suspension etc.) 360hp Z3M.
It's an awesome car and he's been able to lap the local tracks faster than I do with my 993... However, that is going to change this summer... =)

The sad thing is he is going to sell it probably next year but the good news is he will replace it with a 996 mk2 GT3, for which he can mostly blame me...

A friend has a Z3M cab and other than chassis flex (lots), the car is very pleasant to drive. I love the 8000 rpm music.

As for the Coupe, It does not do it for me. Too FUGLY for words!

Very nice! Two questions:
  • Any pics of the hood?
  • Did Hec help, or was he baking cookies?

Oh dear Jesus!

I'll be there if I can walk. The last two days have not been good...

TC Kline is some good stuff. Based in our neck of the woods and he/they just put on a tech clinic for the local club (MORPCA). It was a hour+ of teaching (show and tell) from a master. He is / they are expanding his / their expertise into Porsche Boxster/Cayman and 911s. Wealth of knowledge & common sense when it comes to car set up.

I think they even have an M Coupe (DE ready) for sale (one of their test / demo cars), mods included.

TCK makes a very good product.

My last M3 was sitting on most of their gear.

Outstanding customer service, too.

Super easy car to work on, the suspension is basically a carry over from the BMW E30 (3 series 84-92).
They are also great fun cars to drive!

I know TC personally, he is a great guy, & puts out great products!
