I'm trying to figure out where the elastic straps are located on the convertible top and exactly where and how they pull the top.

Can anyone give more detailed information? Dunno if mine are stretched out and I'd like to check. If they are stretched out, I would like to figure out how the top should fold properly if I do it manually until I get new straps.

I had the same issue about a year ago and did not get any pictures.

I figured it out at the next track day when I had a closer look at another 993 convertible. I got some black elastic strap at walmart and sewed it back in. Has worked great so far. I might find some pictures that I did and post them here later.
