KW + RS sways ?
#16
I would have thought a problem with matching KW's and RS suspension would have been right up 9M's street?
Just thought it might be easier than seeking a solution stateside??

i'm having the same problem, even with the tarett rear adjustable drop links and TRG sway bars. They work with the sway bar above the toe control arm.. but they aren't long enough if the bar is below the toe control arm. Apparently Tarret can make longer adjustable drop links, but they aren't curved. I think ideally, we need curved, adjustable rear links.
What about running the sway bar above the toe control arm? Probably a stupid question, but is this an option?
as you can see in this picture, the tarett short drop links aren't long enough to reach the bar if the bar is under the toe control arm:

the arb is pretty curved
if yuo ran it above the link arm i'm sure the clearances would be too tight for peace of mind
the bar is designed to run under and that's the way i'd rather keep it
I'm a bit busy at the mo but hopefully will be able to get a bracket made later on in the week
I have bent to shape my customs brackets that i made so have a pretty good idea of whats needed
I did speak to KW but they suggested hacking an existing droplink and didn't seem to know fo anything off the shelf which would suit

I just spoke with KW as well, Tom didn't really have a solution, he just says that the KW bracket positioning is based on using factory drop links. Ira at Tarett says we could bend a longer drop link in the center.. I'm thinking we'll just try a longer straight adjustable drop link.

thanks Steven for the pictures. do you know how long your links are? I'm going to send the pictures to Ira. If I could get a measurement on your link, Ira can make a pair for my car, slightly bent like yours. Looks like a nice setup. Thanks again

No worries, PM'd..... PS they are standard RH threaded rodends on both ends, I did it this way as there was no use doing LH/RH ends because the required bend didnt alow that type of adjustment. I still can make 1/2 turn adjustments to height for preload adjustment.

Three Wheelin'
From Mark at FD
FD installed the KWs yesterday and came up with a solution for the RS (and other aftermarket) bars.
They are going to manufacture extra long RS drop links. They will be stainless steel and will utilize SS rod ends.
They think this is the right answer as opposed to the extension bracket.
FD will be selling these for $180/set
If all goes well they are expecting to have a few sets done in less than 3 weeks.
