KW + RS sways ?
just posting on the off chance .. i anyoen runinng this combination ?
I found out the hard way today that the rear RS drop links are nowhere near long enough for the fixed droplink mounts on the Rear KW.
I made some custom brackets today which extend down from the droplink mount but was wondering if there is a more elegant solution. Longre droplinks perhaps ? A proper machined bracket ?
regards
Rich

that would be great
if you have a length measurement as well.. from one shaft to the other ?
I found that my mount point was too high by around 5cm
I made some custom brackets but I thuink they need to move outward as well as downward, sort of away from the damper body a bit more
when i compress the suspension the top of the droplink looks a bit too deformed as its bent too far outboard toward the damper

Race Car
I haven't had a chance to get pics as yet, however, the links that I had made are 185mm (current setting, adjustable with rod ends).
As a point of reference my car was about 15mm below RS height.

Three Wheelin'
I have both the KWv3s and RS Sways new in the box, waiting for a time to get them installed. Let me know your solution please!

Tarrett Drop Links
Guys,
I have the TRG sways, had lots of grief with the 993RS drop links, broke a few. Then I got the adjustable drop links from Tarrett Engineering in San Diego, voila! Problem solved. I have had no more drop link problems.
Ask for Ira when you call Tarrett.

I didn't get a chance to get some pics (was at the track all weekend) I need to do some suspension work this week so will be under the car and will be able to get some pics then. Sorry about the delay.
The Taretts are great (i have them on the front) and Ira is awesome, great service. You could potentially use the front taretts on the rear however they would have to be bent RS link style.

thanks very much
presumably tarrett doesn't make a link that is bent with a curve in it though
this is what is needed for the rear RS bar
I think I might see if a metalworker near me can machine me two nice brackets
I have bent and re-drilled mine a little so they are almost good enough to use as templates. The way I designed them was so that when the car is at rest, looking from the back of the car the droplink is vertical with the top ball joint end level (left to right) with the bottom ball joint end and the link running perfectly vertical. Is this the way they should be ?

Bent RS Style?
I have TRG 22mm bars on the rear. The links I got from Ira did not need bending. My sway bars are under the toe links, not over as some are mounted.
Ira knows what you need, + they are adjustable to dial out any pre-load.
