Thanks Mark! Yes, we finalized the deal and I am just waiting for pick-up/delivery. I'll post pics later guys (as required), but for now, it's a '97 C2S with 13,000 miles.

Thanks Guys. This was a car that I was trying to buy from a fellow 'lister last fall before I found my C2, but he wasn't quite ready to let it go at the time. We stayed in touch and he recently contacted me and told me it was time Super nice fellow and I am glad to be the next owner of this beautiful car! It has 13,000 miles on it, two owners, always a weekend car, no leaks, recent service, tires etc. It's a low option car compared to my C2...motorsound, CD, cruise, 18 inch wheels, coloured crests, black interior (no sport seats unfortunately). He added a Bird armrest, aluminum guage rings, trunk/hood liner and metal/rubber pedals. The car is in excellent shape and runs perfectly! I should have the car here in a few weeks.
I still have the C2 and am trying to decide what to do with it. I wish I could take the options on the C2 and put them on the C2S - especially the full leather interior, LSD/ABD, 6 disc CD and Hi-Fi sound. That would be a nearly perfect NA car for me. I love the C2 and it is a nearly perfect car, but it really isn't practical or in the budget to keep both of them. I'm even toying with driving the C2 daily in the summer during good weather and getting a *&^%box for the winter to be able to afford them both. I will likely have to sell the C2 to a fellow Canadian since our market usually accomodates the additional charges that we have when bringing a car into the country (about 30% when all it said and done).

Mark,
It's been a pleasure to work with you on this transaction. I know you'll give it a great home.
I loved the Porsche, but basically never drove it. In a sense I was in the position of being "over-carred" with two 60's British cars, my first loves, that required frequent attention, or else they just wouldn't run right. Seems weird that I would be so dedicated to such inferior British iron, but so be it.
Thanks also to this great list. I checked in frequently and learned a lot. Siincerest best wishes to all of you guys.
