I used a guy who works out of his garage by the Van Nuys Airport (San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles). He does outstanding work and always has some nice projects going.
He charged me $350 to do the entire job.
His name is Mike Ambrosel phone number is (818) 891-8819.
I dropped them off and it took about 10 days. The removal / install is pretty easy.

Sold I guess, I spoke to them last week and the guy was scratching his head trying to remember how long it has been since he saw a pair.
I have a 92 964 C2 with a Cobalt/Marine blue ( very close to Midnight) and have been tracking it-the regular seats are terrific right up until the car starts moving, then you are slip sliding all over the place. Thought I would get some newer seats but this is turning into a Grailquest.
No sense asking anyone if they have a spare set of 993 exterior door handles?

MCI, I will be modifying a pair of Cayman seats to fit into a 993 very soon. I was curious if LAPD came up with some ready-made solution.
Mr. Beverly Hills, there is a set of 993 handles on Pelican, and,m probably on member-to-member classifieds here. Guy's in Seattle. Thatcher, I believe, or some very similar nickname.

Thanks, Thatcher it is but he started way high and is selling the locks with the handles, I just need the handles. He is down to $290 for the pair but Pelican is restocking soon at $115 each with the gaskets. I don't usually split hairs over small change but I think I rubbed him the wrong way with my initial offer.

I would think 944/951guy here (Paul) would probably have a pair as well.
I do need to replace gaskets on mine. Not looking forward to pulling handles off the doors. I understand that some force is needed.

86k on the clock and counting...getting better with age too...Arctic Silver with Midnight...you have to see it to appreciate it. Blue doesn't photograph well. I think any silver car with black, grey or beige interior is blah boring.

Although I think some of these blue interiors are stunning, most buyers hear the words "blue" and "interior", and they just walk away. A blue interior just appeals to a much narrower audience than, say, a black interior.

You guys suck. Thanks to you I'm no longer a master of my domain. I just broke down and bought a set of 996 blue sport seats. At least they cost me a fraction of what I would've paid for the 993 hard backs... I'm planning on painting the backs polar silver and installing them in the C4S. Thanks for nothing!
