WINDSHIELD GLUE EXPOSURE
I am a tall guy and when sitting in the driver's seat of my 95 very stock 993 am able to see the base of the front windshield just beyond the trim piece at the top of the dash. There is black glue or sealer that obviously has squished out from the base area of the windshield. Holy Cow is it sloppy looking! After inspecting all the glass on my car the specs indicate all factory original. I have read somewhere that some 993's had glued in windshields and others were "floating " in the seals. If Porsche glued my windshield in why would the result look so bad. Has anyone else ever noticed this. Thanks for your input.

Scrunch down in your seat just a bit and you will not see the glue anymore. Really tho use an exacto knife and trim off the excess sealer, careful not to cut into the dash.
