I am thinking about putting a set of 17" Sportclassic I on my 96' Targa.
I think it would look great and make the car look a bit "different". The drawback is that these babies are not easy to find.
Do you have nice pictures showing 993s equiped with those wheels?
Check with Wheel Enhancement. I got a nice set of them for my 944 from the a few years back. I am not sure if they will Ship to Europe but it does not hurt to give them a call. They are a very nice operation and a pleasure to deal with. http://www.wheelenhancement.com/
I think those wheels are still available from Porsche for a fairly reasonable price (~1500 EUR). Check your local Porsche dealer.
If you are looking for used ones, since you're in Europe I'd suggest placing a search add in the German Forum PFF, try German and Swiss ebay and the used wheel dealer Porscheräder München.
Good luck!
