Default Front Rotor Hats

Are the rotor hats from a 318mm rotor interchangeable with the hat on the 322mm rotor?

More detailed information needed to answer your question,....

Precisely, which 318mm rotor are you referring to?????

Whats its application?

Well, I've got an early offset 944. I have a set of 993TT front brakes. I measured them and verified that they are indeed 993TT (332mm x 32mm rotors with calipers to match). To adapt these to the 944, I need to change out the existing rotor hat. Lindsey Racing carries a rotor hat for the early offset 951, however, on their website (which I'm not sure if it's just a typo...) it says that the rotor hat is "for Zimmermann 993TT 12.5" cross drilled 2 piece rotors." I don't know of any 993's having 12.5" rotors... I called and left a message but I wasn't sure if they would know the answer, so I thought I'd ask on here in the mean time. I guess worst case would be I order them, see if they work, and if not return them.

I probably have the hats you need as I'm looking to go the other direction (993 TT brakes from a 944 race car to 993). I have Kokeln Rotor Hats for the 944 turbo.

87 is late offset... I need an '86 early offset... Thanks though (and beautiful car btw!)

I may have to get a local machine shop to make a custom set if Lindsey Racing's doesn't work. We'll see come Monday.

Unfortunately it looks like the race car market is worse off than the housing market. So I'm parting the car out. Let me know if you want to get rid of the rotor hats you have.
