HELP..doors wont lock..
After having the car stored for a few months, my doors wont lock when i press the alarm button nor when i manually lock the doors with key.it locks then unlocks. i also have an aftermarket alarm on it..always have.no matter what i do it locks then unlocks immediately.oh and the horn beeps when it unlocks the doors right away.
can anyone help me with this problem..Thanks!!

I'll be curious to see the cause of THAT one if someone knows. I have followed some threads about immobilzer hell.....sounds like you have a totally new spin on the problem.
Symptom sounds a bit like it would act if a door or the hood were not completely closed.....all closed nice and tight? I don't know if the engine lid is monitored by the alarm system.....but make sure it is closed too...?

just figured out passenger door wont lock!! when i press button on remote only drivers door locks but then unlocks...passenger door doesnt do anything.drivers door locks manually after a few tries but passenger doesnt. time to take door apart..
