Installing full ROW M030 suspension and just want to know what my options are for ride height. I know I can go ROW m030 height but can I go any closer to RS height with this setup without hurting any suspension components. Also can someone post pics of a 993 at ROW M030 height and RS height for comparison?
Seems like a good compromise. It's fairly low and though I wish the front was slightly lower the shop that did the work recommended against that and it's probably for the best, for my purposes (DD) anyway. I have bumped the nose on the ground just twice in a year, once by surprise and the other was just a bit careless and I "knew it was coming."

I'm using it now replacing my orig. suspension w/ Bilstein HD's and ROW MO30's springs. FWIW I'll be setting mine at ROW Sport -10mm (halfway between ROW sport and ROW RS settings). I did the same thing w/ my previous '97 Cab. but I left it at ROW Sport.

The rear shocks are non-adjustable.

The fronts are adjustable to achieve the 1* chassis angle, and for corner balancing. regards
Geolab brought up a good point. I assumed you were going to use Bilstein's for the shocks which give you adjust-ability both front and rear but if you're using stock ROW shocks they aren't adjustable. Which were you planing to use?

Geolab is absolutely correct, w/ M030 struts and springs, I suppose you could use a different thinner top mount in back but other than that the rear is non adjutable.
Further keep in mind that there are 2 different M030 heights
US M030
front 174+/-10
rear 157+/-10
OK, here's a question for the suspension gurus: The m030 springs were designed to operate at a specific ride height. I would imagine that operating significantly below that ride height could cause problems. For instance, the springs will compress a specified degree on a given load. If you go below the specified ride height, the car might hit the bump stops at earlier than it should.
To put this differently:
Lets assume, with the US setup, the car has 4 inches of suspension travel, before it hits the bump stops.
At ROW M030 ride height, the car would have 3 inches and at ROW RS 2 inches of available suspension travel (this conforms roughly to the differences in ride height).
Presumably, due to the difference in available suspension travel, each spring should hit the bump stops for full compression at the same load. Now, if you lower the car with M030 springs significantly below its designed ride height, it would hit the stops early.
So, is that a problem or has anyone ever experienced a problem?
