Default Looking to fix and reinforce front jacking point

Hey guys -

I have a bent jacking point from the previous owner, and want to fix it - right.

I researched this a bit first, so please forgive me if I'm bringing up an old subject...

I found lots of occasions of approaches to jacking and people who have bent their front points, but not threads of guys fixing it and reinforcing it so it doesn't happen again.

anyone out there done this? any pics or specific description of where to add the metal/welds?

Thanks!

I've seen guys weld a square plate (1/4ish) underneither on bent ones and that seems to work fine.

Check with Jeff Scott - I believe he replaced one or more of his.
