Default ??cutting holes in carpet??

anyone come up w/ a nice tool to cut the holes for things like seatbelt anchors etc. In new carpet?

You'll have to use a knife. If you use any kind of circular tool it risks grabbing a strand and pulling it out of the backing. Ask me how I know...

Use a razor knife, or a really nice hobby knife.

I just use a razor and cut a small X... dont try to cut a circle.

Also, take a little bit of Elmers glue and seal the edges. This keeps the cut edges from fraying.
