Default 996 GT3 LSD

Does anybody know if a 996 GT3 LSD (996 332 083 9a) fits to a 964 or 993 G50?
Thanks

It will fit both 5 and 6 speed transmissions. Some early 5spd trans have a non tapered mainshaft which will prevent the installation of the large size 993/996 differential housing. I cannot remember if any 964 G50 trans has the non tapered mainshaft. I think that is mainly the 3.2 carrera G50 boxes, but I'm not 100% positive.

Thanks Geoffrey.
I can get the 996 GT3 LSD for a good price and plan to install it in my 993 G50/21. I also was thinking that would fit.

So does a 997 GT3 LSD fit a 993 G50?
