Default RS cooling fan

I noticed the p.e.t. has 2 different cooling fans listed for the 993 one is for the RS-M64/20 engine. Does anyone know the difference between the fans?

I'm 99% sure that it's just the setup for the pulleys that makes the difference. They all have 12 blades

Bill I came across a RS fan, I haven't tried to install it as of yet. Are you saying the diff may just be in the diameter of the pulley mounting. Is the factory RS pulley different than the aftermarket ones? I am also going to install a single belt crankshaft pulley and do away with the A/C since I have never had it on.

No, just the mounting hardware for the pulley. Everyone that has changed to the RS pulley setup has changed their fan to an RS fan

Ah, so ordering the RS fan (964-106-015-40) includes the RS pulley hub (993 106 051 80) as well? That's great news if true. PET shows the hub as a separate part though. Can anyone please confirm?

The fans are indeed the same as I have both, it's only the hardware.

Yep, true story.. indeed, the hub is included w/ the fan. I now have an extra.

Anyone need an RS pulley hub? $125/ shipped in the lower 48. New, unopened OE Porsche (993 106 051 80), no waiting.
