They are held in place with a spot of silicone. I guess you could make it more permanent if you chose.

Some people used double sided tape, I went to an art store and got some of that tacky wax stuff, I think it is the same stuff that is used to hold dishes down in china cabinets during an earthquake.

The kind I have is kind of an orange-brown color and looks like clay. anyway, I rolled it into long thin strips an put it under the ring, then just pressed them on. I love the look and have never tried to pull them off, but they should come up, I would be worried about bending them though.

it took me a few attempts before I got the right amount to hold well, and not have a bunch of excess ooze out the sides. on a scale of 1-10 complexity, it was a 1.

Any idea if similar rings to these are available elsewhere? I'm not keen on the larger versions. Thanks in advance.

Check these trim rings out on eBay:

I've got, finally, a few quotes and the lowest one is from someone local whom I use often, so, best price break.

$70.04 per kit of five rings. Does this eliminate any of the 21 parties interested now?

EDIT: these can be anodized just about any color, just realize this adds to the cost.

Count me as 22 if I wasn't originally counted.

$70.04 is silly -- lets call the kit price $70.00

I think a new thread should be started.
