Default Winter Projects Coming to an End

Well spring is not too far away now although it'll be awhile before they sweep the winter crap off the streets around here. How are the projects coming? I see a few big endeavors wrapping up. Nothing too big for me this year:
  1. FD short shift kit
  2. Recarpet my subs to match
  3. Stone guards (look way better than the off color silver guards)
  4. Fister Stage IIs w/tips
  5. Aluminum shifter insert (now I need an aluminum accented hand brake $$$)
  6. New blower motor rubber seal
  7. New rubber fan shroud
  8. New HIDs w/relay
  9. Headlight retainer upgrade
  10. Replaced visor clip
  11. Fixed stuck fuel filler flap (the little metal one inside)
  12. Replace lower valve cover gasket (no leaks anywhere now!)
  13. Some regular maintenance items
  14. Touch up some rock chips
  15. Replace broken headlight lever retainer
Now I think about it the list was pretty long. No biggies though. All I need to do now is fix that annoying rattle in the sunroof when its open.

I have a winter list that I haven't even started.......

2. SAI removal
3. Stone guards
4. Exhaust work, news tips, etc
5. Install rear shock monoballs
6. Install front camber plates
7. Install GT2 tilt kit
8. Brake work - new rotor and pads all around
9. fabricate and install harness sub bar
10. Remove A/C system
11. install 2nd oil cooler
12. Motec install (maybe not winter project though)
13. Spend hours on rennlist working out the next project!!!!!

Oops I have started this list, number 13 anyway.. I am sure there are more things that are on the list, it's a bit of a moving target.....

After two frantic winters building and rebuilding the car, this year was very light, only a few little projects.

Install Radio and intercom - Check
Short shift & rework shift rod - Check
New pads & rotors - Check
Take 30lbs out of the driver - 1/2way there
Install cool suit - Ill get to that when its hot....

It's good to be done for the winter (well... almost).
  1. RS door panels
  2. Chris Walrod bushings
  3. Xenit extravaganza
  4. RS heater bypass
  5. Power steering belt
  6. Spark plugs
  7. Light weight flywheel
  8. RS clutch
  9. New clutch slave cylinder
  10. Brake, and Clutch bleed
  11. Removal of AC bracket portion of carrier
  12. Rennline gusset kit
  13. Steel syncros
  14. OS Giken diff
  15. 1/2 Operating sleeve
  16. Stronger shift forks
  17. RWD conversion
  18. Corner balance & align
  19. FDM short shift kit
  20. Debadge rear (this hasn't turned out as well as I hoped... so far)
  21. Fluids (oil / transmission) due to above
  22. Air, oil, and fuel filters
  23. Have a baby

I think that's it... holy carp no wonder my wife says I was in the garage all winter and I'm not out of "fun" money.

You should bring your car up here for a day if you need the lift (brakes, stone guards, exhaust).

I managed to get most of it done before the baby came and after my wife was asleep. Many late nights, but it was worth it

Impressive list, Matt! I can't wait to hear your new exhaust, I'm thinking I'd like to do Fister IIs this year... All these list make me jealous of people with actual mechanical ability
