Winter Projects Coming to an End
Well spring is not too far away now although it'll be awhile before they sweep the winter crap off the streets around here. How are the projects coming? I see a few big endeavors wrapping up. Nothing too big for me this year:
- FD short shift kit
- Recarpet my subs to match
- Stone guards (look way better than the off color silver guards)
- Fister Stage IIs w/tips
- Aluminum shifter insert (now I need an aluminum accented hand brake $$$)
- New blower motor rubber seal
- New rubber fan shroud
- New HIDs w/relay
- Headlight retainer upgrade
- Replaced visor clip
- Fixed stuck fuel filler flap (the little metal one inside)
- Replace lower valve cover gasket (no leaks anywhere now!)
- Some regular maintenance items
- Touch up some rock chips
- Replace broken headlight lever retainer

It's good to be done for the winter (well... almost).
I think that's it... holy carp no wonder my wife says I was in the garage all winter and I'm not out of "fun" money.
- RS door panels
- Chris Walrod bushings
- Xenit extravaganza
- RS heater bypass
- Power steering belt
- Spark plugs
- Light weight flywheel
- RS clutch
- New clutch slave cylinder
- Brake, and Clutch bleed
- Removal of AC bracket portion of carrier
- Rennline gusset kit
- Steel syncros
- OS Giken diff
- 1/2 Operating sleeve
- Stronger shift forks
- RWD conversion
- Corner balance & align
- FDM short shift kit
- Debadge rear (this hasn't turned out as well as I hoped... so far)
- Fluids (oil / transmission) due to above
- Air, oil, and fuel filters
- Have a baby

That would derail most guys! Glad you still found time to get to the garage.
Not me.
You should bring your car up here for a day if you need the lift (brakes, stone guards, exhaust).

Impressive list, Matt! I can't wait to hear your new exhaust, I'm thinking I'd like to do Fister IIs this year... All these list make me jealous of people with actual mechanical ability
hmmm . . . any way that would apply to my exhaust, too?? I'll bring the beer!
