Plenty of heat, even with - 5C°

I'm looking to replace the plastic airbox but didn't find something so far.

Any ideas?

"carbon fibre look" is the key phrase.

I had one and gave it away as it was cheap feeling and cheap looking.

Did you change the plastic shroud above the fan (to the 964 part) or were you able to massage it into place with the stock 993 part?
Not sure you saw my question, so just thought to repost.

Best,

Matt

The "Evoms" air intake linked above...can't see how this would improve performance.

Got it.

Yeah, can't imagine a performance improvement from an air intake variant. I have not heard of anyone with reputable experience suggest that there's anything to gain on a stock(ish) 993.

I will be doing some data logging and be able to give both a subjective and objective result of the intake. I am not expecting much if anything. For me this is part of the process of going towards a Motec upgrade which requires the removal of the MAF and OE intake so an intake like the EVO is required.
