Nice!

I did my housing black and the fan graphite as well as replating the pulleys when I had the engine out. Came out great and does a great job of cleaning up the most noticeable part of the engine. It was not quite enough to hide the rest of the patina on my engine though.

Way too much practice...

She'll be on her way today. Try to disregard the two or three random flies that became entombed under the clear coat.

Great work, as usual. I'm a big fan.
Is this a new service you are offering?

Dude, you don't even want to see the Cosmoline...probably make you vomit in your mouth a little bit.

I'll see what I can do about finding a pic.

Default The usual perfection

Actually the pictures don't speak to me, they YELL to me "you are a slob if you think that just cleaning the engine bay is adequate."

Looks great! The pisser is that many of us are mechanically inept and are clueless as to the process of getting the shroud and impeller off. Any DIY pictures would be really helpful. Anyone?

Thanks!! Not sure what the color name or code is for the Big Reds color, do you think this is close in shade?

Nice work, as usual.

Every time I see an AOW project thread I think of old school Porsche factory workers peering in and smiling.

Painted fans are nice. Factory could have made a fortune with that option, right? We had a guy in Phoenix who would polish anything, so we did a lot of them when we had cars in for alternators. (Including your hand if you didn't give him the part quick enough......) High maintenance, though!

On one of my cars I painted blades red, yellow, and black for a German flag look.

Stranger things have happened around here.

It's not terribly difficult - maybe find a Rennlister nearby who can come by and help you remove the assembly.

I'm colorblind, but this red just spoke to me.

That's actually quite touching - thank you.

That was in the '80's. You know, when you had to put film in cameras and get it developed. Not to mention actually care enough to spend the money, what little there was then.

Funny how I'd go to the track with a roll of 36, maybe 72, as my budget for the weekend. Now how many of us shoot that in a lap??
