Hi Andreas,

The job you did on that fan and fan housing is awesome!

I am trying to find out what colour the fan housing was when it left the factory, as I want mine painted, anodized or powder coated so it looks factory standard.

Do you know what colour and coating the fan housing has according to factory specifications?

I really have no idea. If I were to guess, I'd say a very light anodizing. Whatever it is, comes off instantly with a gently bead blasting.

I've seen a few NOS fan housings for sale on Ebay over the years - and each one looked very worn for being factory new.
