I'm guessing this will be a very short thread. Any original owners still here?

That's a good looking VW Beetle. Maybe a 1968?
We own an original 1979 Beetle Convertible, its stored in a Denver garage. I should break out the Beetle pictures... Your red Beetle sedan brings back fond memories of the many VW Beetles I've owned; '65, '71, '74 and my wifes '79 to this day.
PS: Cibie lighting makes a great sealed beam solution that works wonders in the earlier Beetles. The older wiring accepts this high output headlight just fine.

Too Funny... salesman Harold *****...
Back in the day.. VW's television commercials claimed a new car sales price of $1995.00!
The invoice shows a gas heater option .. it was for the Kombi buses. Look at how the phone number is written; Operator,,, connect me to TOwnsend 9 ..blah, blah...
PS. I bought a '83 GTI from Pray Volkswagen in CT. Silver w/blue. Luv'ed that GTI... In mid-town manhattan the stereo was stolen more times than I can remember. Each event and Pray VW would install a new dashboard and another Kenwood 929 radio.
Anyone remember the Phillips cassette?
