I left DC with the mad rush at 12.30, was a mix of rain and very light snow then.

It's horrible here in SoCal, too. 55 degrees and raining like mad. Storms on both sides of the coast today.

In Middle TN it started raining last night and rained all day today. Expected to turn to snow late tonight or tomorrow.

It's getting real ugly now, very windy, heavy and wet. This is not like the last blizzard, all nice and fluffy, this is the break your back kind.

Four more inches and the tires on my 4Runner will completely disappear. They are 31s.......
I'll post some pics later this morning. Regardless, it's beautiful outside!

And another 4 to 8 inches expected. Has anyone ever seen lightening while snowing? Well we had some of that last night....

If we get 1/2 of rain we're on storm watch. And the morning commute is a nightmare. For some reason SoCal drivers don't adjust for the wet roads and the traffic accidents go sky high.

^ tks, I want to take some from outside, but it's still coming down heavy and windy. TV reporting 30" around here, so we probably end up with 36.....
