Drifting
It would be interesting to see if there is ANY documenated evidence that you can "blow" a motor by doing this...I do know that there is evidence that in the first few seconds after starting a car is the time where a large portion of wear occurs. However, this will not cause your engine to gernade or lie in pieces all over your driveway ; however it might cause a minimually shortened operating lifetime..

Really guys,
I drive my 94 C2 all winter long in snow and ice, we have had -20C / -4F for weeks here in Oslo now, the car starts right up in the morning and drives happily both short and long journeys.
No top-end rebuilds (98' miles now), no excessive oil usage, no heating or fogging issues, all is fine and dandy.
My only precaution a thorough weekly clean of undersides and wheel wells to get rid of salt and grime.
Santas sleigh;
Still looks good with some TLC and summer tires;

So, there you have it! ;-)
